Performed maintenance on Coleman, Carrier and Trane AC furnaces. During maintenance found several issues within the systems. Provided estimates for issues found.

Arrived to perform heating maintenance. System is 2021 Coleman heat pump which services the whole home. Performed test/inspection of all heating components along with heating operation. Also checked filters and ducting. System is operating at manufacturers specifications at this time. Recommended installing surge protection due to upcoming storm season as well as replacing vapor barrier due to to current vapor barrier being severely deteriorated.

Came for a maintenance call, the heating checked out great. I got a complaint on how the downstairs wasn’t cooling properly, so i checked the levels and it needed some freon, i added some and the upstairs cooled down like normal and cycled off. The downstairs unit was still blowing warm air and not cooling effectively. The last thing i was left to think was the house has insufficient insulation and has air leaks

Maintenance on Bill's HVAC system, I found that everything on the air handler was in good condition, the outside unit's pressures were within normal ranges, and all the electrical components were functioning correctly.

Arrived due to no AC. System is 2019 Trane heat pump which services the whole home. System has 2 zone Aprilaire zoning system which allows for independent control of the first and second floors of the home. Upon arrival homeowner informed me that a storm/lightning strike caused a surge in the home and afterwards the AC system stopped working. Todays diagnostic revealed a failed zone control board as well as auxiliary heating kit which provides power to the system. Electrical surge caused components to over amp and fail. Informed homeowner of findings and discussed repair options including adding surge protection as well as an air purification system due to also finding bacterial contamination within the system. Found downstairs Goodman gaspakage system blower Motor running but not compressor and outdoor fan. Upon further inspection found low voltage for call for ac going into electronic circuit system but not coming out. Customer has a bad electronic circuit system. Will order and return to repiar

Found system outdoor Goodman split system Ac system not running upon arrival. Upon further inspection found bad dual start assembly. Tod customer every time system starts the compressor and outside fan both are getting damaged. Also found contactor assembly pitted. Found outdoor condenser coils dirty. Found weak flame safety system. Replaced dual start assembly and system cut back on. Checked hvac system refrigerant pressures and found pressures high. Told customer we need to clean system to bring pressures down. Will order flame safety system and return tomorrow morning to install flame safety system, contactor assembly and clean outdoor system.

Also found contactor assembly pitted. Found no return box on air handler. Found no cover over thermostat wire outside. Gave customer options to Make repairs. Replaced dual start assembly and contactor assembly. Started system up. Checked pressures and system is cooling at this time

Arrived due to no AC. System is 2020 Coleman heat pump that services the front of the building. Diagnostic revealed a clogged primary drain line. Cleared drain line with pressurized nitrogen as well as bacterial cleaner. System is operating properly at time of departure. The client contacted us regarding his HVAC system. We performed routine maintenance to optimize energy efficiency including cleaning the filters, checking for clogs and for leaks, and cleaning the coils and condensers. We discussed the importance of indoor air quality (IAQ) and the client is interested seeing how his kid suffers from allergies.
