Found hvac system running upon arrival. Customer said system was freezing up but fam stopped working. Customer has a bad blower motor and wheel. Also found drain line clogged and system with sitting water on it. Found black mold looks like on air handler. Found dual start assembly reading below manufacture specs. Told customer every time system starts the compressor and outdoor fan are both getting damaged. Also found duct system contaminated. Found no Vapor barrier in crawl space. Gave customer options to make repairs. Customer wants to talk to comfort advisor about replacement of air conditioning and heating system

Arrived due to no AC. System is 2014 Carrier heat pump which services the whole home. Upon arrival found indoor unit blowing warm air however the condenser was not in operation. Perform diagnostic and a failed dual start assembly was found. Replaced dual start assembly to test system operation. After system began operating I noticed delta T (temperature difference) to only get up to 12 degrees. Checked superheat/subcool with pressures. Also checked airflow. Found the compressor to be failing as well. Informed homeowner of findings and discussed repair options along with system retirement options due to the age and condition of the system. Upon arrival, tech found SS-2 switch tripped. The primary drain was clogged and without a clean out T. Tech installed clean out T and cleared drain.

Replace damage ductwork from water

Returned to install condensate removal pump. Removed existing drain line and installed new condensate removal pump. Wired in water safety sensor which will allow the system to turn off if pump were to fail or excess condensation collects in the system. Tested pump several times to ensure proper operation.
