York 14 seer air conditioning system and 95% gas furnace. Replace existing zone system and 2 new thermostats.

Here the furnace has multiple odes, with the system not communicating with the furnace. Possible power surge that has damaged multiple parts of the system. All control boards will need replacement, along with the indoor blower motor plus combustion fan. The furnace board will not allow to clear faults, and the controller is locked out on a non communication fault. My recommendation is for replacement of the system due to number of repairs needed. Diagnostic of no heat on a communicating system

Maintenance (1 system: Coleman) (Fall Tune Up) Started at the furnace, looked to see if the drain pan was clear, checked the flame sensor & blower motor amps both checked out to be in good condition. Looked for any mold/growth inside the system, made sure the drain line was free from any blockages. Turned A/c on, checked the compressor & fan amps, let the system run for a while, then checked pressures it was 54 degrees outside i had a reading of 86psig on the suction line, suggesting that the system is operating normally for the given conditions and refrigerant type. The specific refrigerant pressure-temperature relationship can help determine it the suction line pressure is appropriate, 186.8psig on the liquid line. Then shut the unit off to checked all the components within the outside unit, and everything looked great!

Here a fall maintenance performed, and no issues to report. The heat rise was 56*, which is within allowable manufacturing specifications. All amp draws are as follows indoor fan 1.10 induce draft fan .64 Amps flame sensor 7.6 mili volts igniter 49.6 ohms. Also the cooling pressures were recorded, and found to be in optimal range. As of now the system is running in normal operation in heating, and cooling.

Here a three system fall maintenance was performed, and no immediate issues to report. All heat rise are with manufacturers specifications, and all Amp draws within tolerance. The capacitors are all in range, and both modes heating, and cooling operating properly. The recently installed system had to be reprogrammed to work as a duel fuel, and the auxiliary heat is locked out until below 40* through the nest thermostat. This system to was tested, and now has the duel fuel capability.
