He so-called put 2 parts in our old unit for $850 then claimed that the parts didn't fix the unit so we needed a new unit from another technician that’s going to cost 8-12 thousand dollars 😠

I have not received my warranty for my unit. My serial number was not matched to the new unit capacity in which I was supposed to receive. That should have been done at installation. The price I was told and the price I received were two different prices

We had a normal semiannual service, and were told a board needed to be replaced in our older heat pump unit. When the board was replaced, a plug or jumper should have been transferred from the old board to the new board, but wasn't. Also, the heat strips were disconnected and not reconnected, with the result that we had two very cold mornings. The plug was a special order, and the technician, who was also the branch manager, did not ensure expedited service, claiming there was nothing he could do to get the plug faster. Meanwhile we were heating with heat strips, which is very expensive. I called the office, and whoever I spoke to managed to get the plug expedited. Overall, the technician, Cameron Best, is very personable and courteous, but apparently not too competent. I am glad we are moving.

Cameron Best was excellent. Five stars. However, he found some problems (a good thing) that were not covered by warranty. Before the appointments were even scheduled, I had to pay the entire estimated amount, up front. I think this is unacceptable. My policy is not to pay until the service has been done to my satisfaction. I'm not sure I can recommend Heroes Heating and Cooling anymore.
