Checked complete system. Found duct system not sealed. Gave customer options to seal duct system. Will return tomorrow to seal complete duct system
Preformed full system tune up. Checked duct system for growth and leaks. Checked safeties. Checked blower amps 2.3. Checked heater kit amps 40. Found bad contactor assembly. Also found dual start reading below manufacture specs. Replaced both dual start assembly 55/5 and contactor assembly. Checked refrigerant pressures and they are good
As of now the system is running in normal operation in heat, and no issues to report.
Arrived due to issues with heating for both floors of the home. Systems are 2022 Coleman heat up pumps which operate the floor’s independently. Found both Nest thermostats incorrectly programmed as duel fuel systems. This caused the systems to operate only the heat strips when temperatures reached below 50 degrees as the primary source of heat. Duel fuel systems typically have furnaces as backup heat options. Corrected thermostat settings to operate as heat pumps only. First floor system had very low refrigerant pressures which was causing the outdoor unit to freeze over. Added refrigerant to system to achieve correct pressures. Will follow up with a visit to ensure pressures are holding and there are no leaks within the system.
Here two fall maintenance performed, and a couple issues to report. The downstairs system has a restriction of airflow from cats within the home. Also growth found inside the downstairs air handler, and a consultation for a sealed crawl space is warranted.upstairs amp draw’s are indoor fan motor 1.22 heat strip 21.91 amps compressor 5.47 outdoor fan .62 dual start assembly is giving what it’s rated for at 41.6/5.0 uf. Suction pressure at145 discharge 425. Downstairs suction pressure found below optimal range discharge 300 psi. Indoor fan motor 1.08 compressor 4.29 outdoor fan .66 indoor single start assembly is giving what it’s rated for at 10uf heat strip 21.51 amps.

Arrived due to no heat. System is 2019 Rheem gas pack which services the whole home. Upon arrival found gas shut off valve in the off position which was not allowing gas to flow through the burners. Tech performed preventative maintenance. During maintenance, tech found week. Dual start assembly. Dual start assembly is under warranty. Unit is functioning properly at this time.
Found system low on charge. Customer has leak in indoor coil. Also found weak flame safety system. Found dirty duct system. Will order coil and flame safety system and return to make repairs
Arrived due to no AC. System is 2016 Goodman AC/Furnace which services the whole home. System has 2 zone Honeywell zoning system which allows independent control of the first and second floors. Today’s diagnostic revealed a failed dual start assembly along with a failing voltage distribution system. Informed homeowner of findings and discussed repair options. Homeowners elected to proceed with repairs as well as signing up for the maintenance membership. Removed old components and installed new dual start assembly and voltage distribution system. Arrived due to no AC. System is 2015 Trane heat pump which services the whole home. Upon arrival found power being interrupted to Nest thermostat. Diagnostic revealed a clogged primary condensate removal drain. Also found the dual start assembly and voltage distribution system operating outside of manufacturer’s specifications.
