Preformed full system tune up on both upstairs and downstairs. Checked systems for leaks and growth in duct system. Found upstairs media filter dirty. Checked all safeties. Checked blower amps 1-1.3 2-.87. Checked heater kit amps 1-18 2-19. Compressor amps 1-6.8 2-5.6. Outdoor fan amps 1-.87 2-.98.
Installed new hvac system. Starter system and system is operating normal at this time
York 15.20 seer heatpump system for 1ST floor
Arrived due no heat. Is 2000 Carrier/Trane heat pump. Diagnostic revealed several issues within the system. The air handler has failed electric heat kit along with failing single start assembly for the blower motor. Was not able to diagnose outdoor system/check pressures due to failed indoor components. Informed homeowner findings and discussed repair costs along with system retirement options due to the age and condition of the system. Homeowner will review options and decide at a later time.
