Arrived due to homeowners concerns of mold inside duct work. System is 2002 Rheem heat pump with duct system original to the home as well. Performed inspection of the ducting system as well as the heat pump. Found the air handler and ducting severely contaminated with biological contamination as well as dirt and debris. The system would not operate in heat mode as the blower woukd only operate intermittently. Found the high voltage disconnect melted due to wiring issues with the air handler as several other severe issues within the system. Informed homeowner of findings with system and presented pictures supporting findings. Recommended system and duct system replacement due to the overall condition of the unit/ducting. Homeowner elected to meet with project manager to further discuss system retirement. Thank you for choosing Heroes Heating And Cooling!

During their maintenance, I conducted a thorough assessment of two furnaces, one of which was a Carrier and the other a York model. Both furnaces were found to be in excellent condition, with their flame sensors functioning optimally. Notably, the Carrier furnace exhibited a Delta T of 17.2 degrees, while the York furnace had a Delta T of 19.7 degrees. Drain lines were clear, and all electrical components were in good shape. I recommended the installation of an SS2 switch for the Carrier unit, which the homeowner opted not to implement immediately but should consider for future maintenance. Following the furnace checks, I proceeded to inspect the condensing units. The refrigerant levels were within the normal range, and all electrical components of the condensing units were also in excellent condition. Overall, both furnaces and condensing units were in good shape, and necessary recommendations were provided for the homeowner's consideration.

Customer only wants to clear drain line and pan and replace contactor assembly. Made repairs.
During service call, tech found a malfunctioning blower motor. Indoor coil will freeze if there is not proper airflow blowing over it. Arrived to replace the second floor systems compressor. System is 2021 Coleman heat pump. Recovered refrigerant from system and removed old compressor. Installed then brazed in new compressor. Pressure tested the system then pulled system to 500 microns of vacuum to ensure all moisture and air is removed from the system. I then charged the system to manufactures specifications. System is operating properly at time of departure. I have requested another appointment to finish the remaining media filter installation. Returned installed both upstairs and downstairs media filters
